Business Challenge
Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters (JBBBS), a non-profit organization, was looking for performers to provide a fun-filled day of activities, improv team building, and entertainment for their emotionally and mentally challenged children and adult groups for their annual events.Value Provided
StageCoach Improv designed and staffed two 90-minute events working closely with the activity program coordinators for both the kids and the adult Event 2 Event group. The two events consisted of a series of customized acting and improv team building games and exercises followed by an interactive improv show. By elevating the playfulness of the group as well as with their individual big brothers or big sisters, a very rewarding level of creativity, communication, and camaraderie emerged. The laughter, silliness and hugs were validation of the real fun had by all!Team Building Testimonial
Our entire organization had the pleasure of being part of a team-building retreat led by Rob DiNnini of Stagecoach Improv. Rob was able to coax, cajole, and entice every single member of our staff into participating whole-heartedly in a day filled with a wide variety of improvisational activities. To say that many of them were very skittish before Rob began would be to understate it by half.
Rob’s very light but sure touch, his seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of improvisational exercises and acting techniques, and his way of making them accessible to the most nervous actors among us, made the day extremely enjoyable and productive for us all!
If you are considering engaging Rob and his team for any kind of staff retreat, I would recommend them heartily, and would be very happy to speak with you about our team-building experience.
