The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) was searching for "out of the box" conference entertainment, experiential learning, and team building. The VA looked into improv and sketch comedy, improv team building, and improv communication and leadership programs to empower their leadership and teams to embrace the transformational challenges and change management initiatives spearheaded by the Under Secretary for Health Dr. Petzel's vision of "transformation to the 21st century".

StageCoach Improv customized an improv for business professionals program working collaboratively with the VA conference event leadership. In addition to reinforcing the VA conference key learning through facilitating improv team building games and exercises, communication skills coaching and storytelling humor, StageCoach Improv performed sketch and improv comedy for all three leadership development conferences (L.E.A.F, EES, and ECF) embodying the psychology of going outside their comfort zone to develop skills to better cope and manage the "How do I fit in?" mind set to the organizational transformation vision and the new teamwork delivery models.
StageCoach Improv has been working closely with the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) with their transformational change management by helping to build effective teamwork processes, encourage psychological safety, and effectively navigate uncertainty while empowering leadership to cope with change and overcome obstacles with the goal of delivering the best care for our veterans.
