The State of Maine Department of Dispute Resolution was seeking a fun, new, and exciting “on your feet” mediation training that they could use in their daily practice and would help foster team building ideas through improv.

Value Provided

StageCoach Improv brought their CRISP™ (Conflict Resolution Interactive Skills Program) and improv team building program to the Maine mediators! By the time the two-hour CRISP™ workshop was over, these compassionate Maine folk had gotten out of their heads by transforming into various animals and exploring how it effected their thinking, learned to give up control by telling a story in one voice in a group setting, to listen with all five senses and evoke truthful emotions as they retold a poignant story from another mediator’s life, how an understanding of status can help create resolution, and much more.
